In Part 2 of this reflective and layered conversation, the men of The Forum reading club explore how societal structures have shaped and, in many cases, distorted how men from the global majority see themselves.
They share personal experiences, from generational expectations to the quiet burdens of masculinity, and reflect on how systems built around dominance, silence, and individualism often leave little room for emotional complexity or cultural nuance.
Through books and open dialogue, they break down the ideas that helped them question, unlearn, and grow; shifting the narrative from survival to self-awareness and from isolation to connection.
